Fighting Cocks - The most famous rock in Halong Bay

This is the most prominent rock that cannot be mentioned when visiting Ha Long. Fighting Cocks, also as known as Trong Mai rock was located on the Southwest side of Halong bay, which is far from Bai Chau beach about 5 kilometers and growing 10 meters above the sea.
This small island cluster is shaped like a pair of chickens, one cock and one hen, about 12 meters high with each rock, holding their heads together in a very precarious position. Despite its precarious appearance, it seemed that a strong wave could collapse at any time, but surprisingly, this island still stood strong and witnessed hundreds of millions of years pass. This is also the stone discovered in the early days of Ha Long Bay and has become one of the symbols of Ha Long Bay in particular and Vietnam tourism in general. 

Ha Long bay Toad (Con Coc Islet)

Con Coc Rock is not too far from the shore of Ha Long city and is located in the middle of Cat Ba island. This is an inclined rock with a small foundation of 70°. In Vietnam, the Toad is affectionately known as Uncle of God - associated with the fairy tale that people often tell each other. That army was led by a brave Toad.
